ZHANWANG Successfully Completes Specialized Technical Training for Central Asian Client

From August 24 to 26, ZHANWANG INC. successfully conducted specialized technical training on natural gas engines for a Central Asian client at its facility. Several trainees from Central Asia participated in the program.

The training combined classroom instruction, equipment demonstrations, and hands-on workshop practice. It provided systematic technical exchanges covering natural-gas-powered equipment, compressor package applications, and field operation and maintenance, with particular emphasis on the structure, maintenance, and hands-on servicing of natural gas engines.

From System Understanding to Field Application

Reliable operation of a natural gas compressor package is never about a single piece of equipment. It depends on the coordinated performance of the prime mover, compressor, and associated auxiliary systems.

During the training, ZHANWANG technical personnel used actual equipment and field application scenarios to provide a structured explanation ranging from system configuration and basic operating principles to operation and maintenance approaches. Using the natural gas engines and compressors available at the company's facility, they also engaged in in-depth exchanges with the trainees on equipment structure, field operation, maintenance and repair, and common issues encountered in actual applications.

By combining theory with real equipment, the program enabled the trainees not only to understand the equipment itself, but also to gain a more intuitive understanding of the role each unit plays within a compressor package.

From Classroom to Workshop: Bringing Training onto the Equipment

Compared with classroom-only instruction, this training placed greater emphasis on hands-on capability.

Workshop sessions focused on disassembly, inspection, and adjustment of natural gas engines. Practical exercises included removing and installing air filters, spark plugs, mixers, and cylinder heads; removing piston-and-connecting-rod assemblies; measuring cylinders; checking piston ring clearances; reinstalling piston-and-connecting-rod assemblies and cylinder heads; and checking and adjusting valve clearances.

From understanding the structure to carrying out disassembly, and from component inspection to reassembly and adjustment, trainees worked through each task under the guidance of ZHANWANG technicians, turning classroom knowledge into a more direct understanding of equipment construction and maintenance procedures.

Face-to-Face Exchange for More Direct Technical Communication

Training is not only about transferring knowledge; it is also an opportunity for direct technical exchange.

In the meeting room, both sides reviewed technical documentation item by item. In the workshop, ZHANWANG technicians explained the equipment on site and discussed practical issues involving natural-gas-powered equipment and the operation and maintenance of compressor packages.

For industrial equipment, much practical experience cannot be fully conveyed through documents and drawings alone. Standing beside the equipment, seeing the structure, handling the components, and discussing real operating issues make complex technical topics more tangible and allow the training to better reflect actual field needs.

From Equipment to Service: Strengthening International Technical Support Capabilities

Equipment delivery is not the end of service.

To support the long-term operation of natural gas compressor packages, ZHANWANG continues to provide lifecycle support covering skid packaging and system integration, installation and commissioning, spare parts supply, inspection, maintenance and repair, performance upgrades and retrofits, field service, and technical training.
